Graduating high school at 16 really got me used to not being able to do a lot of the activities my friends get involved in. So bar hopping and going to clubs were foreign concepts to me. Never having looked my age also helps me cope with it, due to being able to get over once in a while. However, most of my SUNY Albany days were spent smoking blunts with my suite mates as opposed to going to clubs. Three years later and I’d still rather smoke a blunt and kick it on the couch rather than go clubbing.
I don’t want to turn 19. I feel like 19 is just a waste of a year. You’re almost 21 but you still can’t even freakin’ drink, last year of being a teenager, and you can basically still do the same shit you can already do when you’re 18.
Waste.
This is exactly how I felt when I turned 19. A waste can not even being to describe how I feel about this year.
